TORONTO, ON – Toronto’s party going elite was out in force on November 28th, 2013 for the fifth annual Frocktail party, a charity event for The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). The Frocktail Party was founded in 2009 by Jessica Oliver, Ali Reid and Jen Foster who wanted to make a difference in support of Jessica’s sister Vanessa, diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at six-years old.
Held in the stunning Arcadian Loft located in the heart of downtown Toronto, guests were treated to hip tunes by a DJ and tasty hors’douvers from Oliver & Bonacini.
There was a nail bar manicures by O.P.I., a ‘lash’ bar from Winks eyelash boutique and a great swag bag filled with delights to make any girl look great for the holidays for a $20.00 donation. People danced, drank and shopped while mingling with a very handsome crowd.
The highlight of the evening though, was the much-anticipated auction of haute couture clothing. Dresses from Oscar De la Renta, Alexander McQueen and Gucci being offered for a fraction of their original cost.
All items donated by local celebrities for this worthy cause and 100% of the proceeds going to the cause. Make sure you mark your calendars next year for the 6th Annual Frocktail Party.
