TORONTO, ON – The inaugural Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards (CAFA) were held at Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York Hotel on Saturday, February 1st.
The continuous snowfall did not stop fashion devotees from celebrating this year’s best at a star-studded awards dinner in the Canadian Room.
A sellout crowd added dazzle in couture gowns and fashion pieces which continued at the Sephora-sponsored after-party.
The brainchild of Brittney Kuczynski and Jackie Gideon, CAFA was brought to life with the help of Susan Hart and Vicky Milner.
CAFA Highlights:
DSquared2 received 2 awards, Coco Rocha won model of the year and Jeanne Beker received a special tribute for her lifetime contribution to fashion and media.
After-party Highlights:
Bumble and Bumble’s hair station, Sephora Bite lipstick giveaway, lamb sliders and something you would least expect at a fashion party, a poutine station!
