TORONTO, ONT – The 2017 Wanderluxe Gala was held at the the old Toronto Star warehouse at 1 Yonge Street.
The Gala fundraiser in support of the Herbie Fund and Air Canada Foundation attracted more than 360 of Canada’s travel-loving philanthropists raising more than $1 million.
Guests were greeted upon entering by Air Canada flight attendants and ushered to a fabulous cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres after wich guests were escorted to their respected ‘Gate’ to be seated to an amazing dinner presented by Air Canada’s culinary partner David Hawksworth.
Post dinner entertainment featured Cirque du Soleil’s JOYÀ, from Cirque’s resident show in Mexico.
The Herbie Fund at SickKids established in 1979 extends our fight by bringing kids from around the globe to the hospital for life-changing surgeries.
The Air Canada Foundation extends our reach enabling kids with challenges to reach their full potential, and enabling kids with complex medical issues to reach the right care.
