TORONTO, ONT- The Canadiana Gala the premier gala black tie fundraiser in support of the National Ballet School was held at the Carlu in March in downtown Toronto.
The evening started off with a cocktail reception and performances by First Nations Dancers in full ceremonial dress.
Guests were then lead to the grand ballroom and treated to amazing four-course dinner and of course, no National Ballet School Gala is not complete without a ballet Performance by elite ballet program students.
The Gala theme brought the best of a Canadian Theme with Red and White colours visible everywhere, the Hudson Bay iconic striped blankets and of course the original hosers a Bob and Doug McKenzie ‘Great White North’ photobooth.
The Canadiana Gala raised close to 40% of the National Ballet School annual fundraising goal.
