TORONTO, ONT – Toronto Life magazine unveiled their 2014 Toronto’s 50 most influential people at a lavish cocktail event at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Toronto, to no-ones surprise newly elected Toronto Mayor John Tory topped the 2014 list.
While most attendees at the event weren’t too surprised who was on the 2014 list, most wanted to see who was left off the list in 2014. Was #37 from the 2013 most influential list make it or was #37 a late scratch (#37 was not on the list but was on the lips on many).
There were 6 new members to the Top 10 Influential List including Tiff’s Cameron Bailey up to #7 from 26. Retaining a hold on their top 10 spots were Drake, Premier Kathleen Wynne, BCE’s George Cope and Media David Thompson of Woodbridge.
