Toronto – The annual black tie Red Rose Ball was held at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel on Thursday April 3 in Toronto.
Billed as an ‘Evening With Rick Mercer’, The Red Rose Ball of The St. George’s Society of Toronto, a highlight of the Toronto’s social calendar featured a cocktail reception, followed by a lavish gourmet dinner prepared by Fairmont Royal York’s Executive Chef, Collin Thornton
This year, the St. George’s Society of Toronto, paid tribute to the acclaimed Actor and Writer and the star of the Rick Mercer Report with its Award of Merit for his contributions to the community.
Proceeds of the fun filled evening went to the many of the charitable works of St. George’s including compassionate HIV/AIDS care at Casey House in Toronto.
