The 2013 Canadian Screen Awards held it’s first annual red carpet Canadian Screen Awards Broadcast Gala in Toronto at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts and presented awards to 37 winners in film and television programming categories. The Event hosted by ever energetic and hilarious Martin Short and was broadcasted live on the CBC.
The inaugural CSA was denominated by the film, Rebelle/War Witch. The film walked away with 10 awards, including Best Motion Picture, Best Director and Best Supporting Actor/Actress.
The awards ceremony was hosted by Martin Short.
